The Deli’s unique hand-made creations include heart-shaped cakes of various sizes, candies, cookies and chocolates. Special White Day gift baskets filled with items of the customer’s choice are also available. The Deli will inscribe a short message on your cake if ordered two days before pick up. The White Day specials range from 25,000 won to 200,000 won. All prices are subject to an additional service charge and VAT.

Special garlic cuisine at the Grand InterContinental.

To March 31: The Grand InterContinental Hotel’s Cafe Espresso is offering special garlic cuisine. Garlic is known to be one of the healthiest herbs. It controls blood pressure, prevents blood clotting and acts as an antioxidant to reduce the risk of cancer. It also supplements the immune system. The special dishes featuring garlic include wood-fired pizza with garlic oil, tomato and fresh mozzarella, rugola and crispy garlic chips. Customers can also enjoy roast garlic flavored pasta with jumbo shrimp, fresh dill and garlic cream sauce; or roast lamb medallions with caramelized garlic and olive caper sauce. Garlic and chive crusted salmon with wilted zucchini and anchovy will be appreciated by fish lovers. Prices range from 20,000 won to 42,000 won. All prices are subject to an additional service charge and VAT.

Millennium Seoul Hilton
March 16 and 17: Season, a French restaurant in the Millennium Seoul Hilton, is hosting the 46th Gourmet Circle Dinner over two days. The Gourmet Circle Dinner started in 1996, and is held four times a year. Each season, award-winning Executive Chef Park Hyo-nam presents a special menu matched with a fine selection of wines. This season’s event commences with a Champagne reception at 7 p.m.
The menu will include lobster carpaccio and premium Wagyu beef served with pumpkin puree and truffle oil. The tableware will be from Hermes. The event’s seven-course dinner is 138,000 won per person.

Lotte Hotel Seoul
March 15 to April 15: For a month, the Mugunghwa Restaurant, Momoyama Japanese Restaurant and La Seine International buffet restaurant at the Lotte Hotel Seoul will serve seafood delicacies from Wando. Wando is well-known for its clean and pure seafood. Dishes will be prepared from abalone, seaweed, flatfish, kelp and anchovies. Customers can enjoy Mugunghwa’s Wando Seafood Course for 68,000 won per person. The course will include seaweed salad, vinegared top shell and steamed rice.
Momoyama offers its course at 120,000 won per person. It includes clam broth, cherry blossom rice, grilled Spanish mackerel and walnut.
