Dinner will be accompanied by a selection of fine Bourgogne wines. Steamed lobster with steamed vegetables and spicy grapefruit butter sauce, grilled lobster on a bed of ginger with baby orange comfit and fennel, roasted lobster with basil mint pesto, baked lobster Florentine wrapped in crepes with Hollandaise and lobster stew with asparagus are the five main dishes specially designed for this promotion. Four set menus with a choice of salad, main dish and dessert are available, and prices vary from 47,000 won to 72,000 won excluding VAT. A 5 percent discount is available with reservations.

To April 30: The JW Grill at JW Marriott brings the tangy flavor of the American South to Seoul with its “New Orleans Promotion.” The region’s signature Creole, served with a distinct herb and spices sauce, is a seafood dish that reflects New Orleans’ rich fishing tradition. Also in store are the famous Cajun menus. As Cajun meals are usually a three-course affair, guests are invited to build their personal set menus from a choice of appetizers that includes simmered scallops in New Orleans rum, and from main courses such as crawfish-stuffed fillet mignon with Bordelaise sauce, or Cajun style rack of lamb. Cherry crumble with cinnamon-rum-flavored ice cream is one of the desserts on the menu to tempt one’s sweet tooth.

From Today: Grand InterContinental’s French restaurant Table 34 presents “Temptation of Black Diamonds,” a truffles cuisine promotion. Connoisseurs of fine foods are invited to experience the rich flavor of French imported truffles, a unique species of underground fungus that forms a symbiotic relationship with oak or hazel tree roots. Chef Lucas Spoel will create five different truffle dishes including pasta with sliced truffles and mozzarella fungi, truffle omelet with chives and brie cheese and beef tenderloin with Perrigo sauce, potato gallette, truffles and foie gras. Menu prices vary from 35,000 won to 57,000 won excluding service charge and VAT.
