Major mackerel meal to help Ulsan fishery
More than 25,000 workers at the Hyundai Motor factory in Ulsan feasted on 10 tons of mackerel, worth 30 million won ($31,983) at a lunch yesterday to help local fishermen. The fishermen have been hurt by the low price of mackerel caused by an excessive catch. The devaluated yen also reduced the income of fishery exports to Japan.
