From May 5 To May 15: The La Seine buffet restaurant at the Lotte Hotel and Lotte World Hotel in Jamsil present a “Journey through Singaporean Cuisine” with five guest chefs from Singapore.
La Seine restaurants at the hotels have invited chefs from some of the most prestigious restaurants in Singapore to prepare a variety of Singaporean fusion dishes like spicy sweet and sour chili crab; bak-kut-tay, an herbed pork rib soup; roti prata, an Indian style pancake; and 25 kinds of delicacies to delight the taste buds. During the event, guests will have a chance to win a round-trip flight to Singapore, certificates good for free accommodations at Lotte Hotels, meal coupons and other special prizes related to the island state. Famous as a cultural melting pot, the various races, religions and its intriguing range of foods of make Singapore an excellent place to sample a cuisine not likely to be found anywhere else. The price is 55,000 won for lunch and 59,000 for dinner including tax and service charge.

In particular risotto, Lombardy’s signature dish, is world-renowned. Using abundant rice, vegetables and cheese, each dish is prepared with perfect timing to bring out the maximum flavors of each ingredient.
Also offering famous Lombardian cuisines like potato dumpling with Gorgonzola cheese, risotto with truffle in saffron cream sauce, and Milanese style veal ossobuco.
Prices range from 21,000 won to 39,000 won excluding 10 percent tax and service charge.

Ongoing (weekends only): Olivo , the Italian restaurant at the JW Marriott hotel Seoul presents “La tavola frizzente.” For those who have difficulty deciding between pizza and penne, grilled seafood, smoked salmon or salad, chef Franco has included them all in a layered buffet menu featuring authentic ingredients, secret sauces and fresh twists. Following a soup of the day with assorted Italian bread, guests can enjoy 14 appetizers including prosciutto crudo and melon, seafood salad and fritto misto ― a delicious platter of fried foods that serves as Italy’s answer to Japanese tempura. The main dishes are no less diverse, with a selection of eight pasta favorites and other treats. Health conscious seafood lovers can revel in the low-calorie spaghetti with calamari, prawns, capers and olives. Those who want something rich and flavorful may opt for the Olivo special lasagna. A selection of Italian and European pastries with coffee or tea make up dessert and round off a sumptuous lunch.
The buffet is available weekends from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at a cost of 42,000 won excluding 10 percent tax and service charge.
