Ongoing (Except Sunday): The Oak Room, a traditional English style bar at Millennium Seoul, again features BBQ happy hour. The event offers BBQ buffet salad, various BBQ dishes accompanied by sauces, side dishes, including bread and rice, as well as fresh fruit. Guests can choose unlimited mugs of draft beer or free flowing glasses of wine (or unlimited soft drinks for designated drivers or teetotalers). The price is 29,000 won ($31) per person and 39,000 won for premium wine brands. It is available every evening except Sunday from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Imperial Palace Hotel
Ongoing: Cheonsan, the Chinese restaurant at Imperial Palace, presents a symbolic Cheonsan Emperor’s menu for VIP patrons. This menu includes abalone or lobster dish, whole bird nest Buddha jump soup with mushrooms, royal superior whole shark’s fin with caviar in mushrooms, si-mi-ro with ginseng-yam and snowflake mushrooms as well as Gwaneumwang (The best of Chinese tea which contains vitamins and minerals). The price is 65,0000 won per person, excluding tax and gratuity. The minimum order is for two. Each dish in the course menu can be ordered individually and the price range is from 130,000 won to 200,000 won.

Renaissance Seoul hotel
On Going: Manhattan Grill, the Korean restaurant at Renaissance Seoul, is featuring a Korean han woo beef special menu promotion.
Executive chef Joerg Hontheim offers various Han Woo dishes, such as han woo ox tail consomme with shark’s fin, marinated han woo beef carpaccio with sesame ginger vinaigrette, han woo sirloin, tenderloin and rib-eye steak. Chef Hontheim has prepared two seven-course menus. The promotion will take place throughout May.
The price is 85,000 won and 9,5000 won exclusive of tax and service charges.

Grand Hyatt Seoul
From May 11: The poolside BBQ at the Grand Hyatt Seoul opens its grills.
The city’s outdoor dining spot offers dinners that overlook the pool with scenic gardens and breathtaking night views of the city. Ocean seafood and a selection of charcoal grilled meat and sausage is available. The BBQ also offers salads, side dishes and desserts.
The buffet is open daily, weather permitting, from 6 to 10 p.m. and the price is 52,000 won for adults and 29,000 won for children, exclusive of tax and service charges.
