Sake Maker’s Dinner at Sheraton Grande Walkerhill

On May 25: Kiyomizu, the Japanese restaurant in the Sheraton Grande Walkerhill, will present the “Sake Maker’s Dinner” with sake and traditional Japanese cuisine.
Customers can choose from three kinds of sake: Morita Black, Mazzu Junmai Daiginzo, and the Geum-mun Naeno-hi Gold Medalist. Also available is Japanese beer, Sapporo. Morita’s representative, Kimijima, and the Westin Miyako Kyoto Hotel’s head chef, Yokoyama, will speak on the art of Japanese dining and sake. A live band will play music. The event will be held at the Starlight sky lounge of Walkerhill. The reception is at 7 p.m. Dinner will begin at 7:30 p.m. The price is 200,000 won ($216) excluding tax and service charge.

Millennium Seoul Hilton
To May 31: Seasons, the Millennium Seoul Hilton’s French restaurant, presents a one-month celebration of the asparagus. Throughout May, executive chef Pak Hyo-nam is offering a seasonal selection of green and white asparagus dishes, both on the a la carte menu and as part of a special five-course menu. The promotion will also feature a gala dinner at 7 p.m. on May 15. The gala dinner includes 13 Riesling wines, one as an aperitif and 12 to be paired with dinner. The gala dinner with wine is priced at 120,000 won excluding service charge.

Celebration of Asparagus at Millennium Seoul Hilton

To May 31: Delibonbons, the COEX InterContinental Seoul’s bakery, is featuring seaweed bread in May. Offerings include sea lettuce baguette made with steamed sea lettuce and baguette dough, sea laver soft bread and seaweed brown bread, which is baked with cereal grains.
In addition, four kinds of seaweed bread with sea tangle and rye is featured.
The price is 4,400 won for each bread, including VAT.

Ibis Ambassador Myeongdong
To May 31: La Table, a restaurant in Ibis Myeongdong, will hold a Thai food promotion starting Monday through the end of this month.
Authentic Thai cuisine will be served buffet-style, with both hot and cold dishes.
All menus will be cooked by chefs specializing in Thai cuisine.
Also during this promotional period, visitors to the restaurant can take part in drawings that provide discount coupons for hotel suites and restaurant sets.
