Shilla Cuisine at Lotte Hotel Seoul
June 29 to 30: “River Park BBQ Party: A Feel-good Imagination,” will be held at Walkerhill outdoor pool in River Park.
Unlimited BBQ buffet and beer will be offered from 6:30 to 10 p.m
Two 1990’s Korean groups will perform, Yuh-haeng Sketch on June 29 and DongMulWon on June 30.
Entry will be 60,000 won ($64) for adults and 40,000 won for children, including tax.
This event will be postponed to mid-August in case of inclement weather.

July 3 to 12: Mugunghwa, the Lotte Hotel Seoul’s Korean restaurant, has invited an expert on the royal cuisine of the Shilla Dynasty to present Shilla cuisine.
Mugunghwa will offer four courses.
The price range is from 50,000 won to 120,000 won, excluding service charge and VAT.

To August 31: The Imperial Palace Hotel’s Italian Restaurant Verona showcases the cuisine of Campania, a state in southern Italy and the birthplace of dry pasta and mozzarella cheese. Sets in this promotion are from the two regions of Campania, Napoli and Salerno.
The Napoli set includes mini pizza, eggplant with cheese, traditional seafood soup, bacon cheese pasta, mini steak made with short ribs, dessert with amaretto fragrance, and coffee or tea. It is priced at 68,000 won. The Salerno set includes tomato salad, potato tomato soup, eggplant gratin, seafood grill, Napoli style cake with strawberry sauce, and coffee or tea. The price is 65,000 won. Hours are noon to 3 p.m. for lunch and 6 to 10 p.m. for dinner.

To Sept. (weekdays only): The Japanese restaurant Shunmi at Novotel Ambassador Gangnam offers its summer course menu. The cold buckwheat noodle set features buckwheat noodles, rolls and dessert. It is priced at 24,000 won. The clear or spicy sea bream hot pot set is 28,000 won. A table buffet is 30,000 won. The buffet includes sashimi, sushi, fish tempura, Japanese style natto with sashimi, beef and vegetables teppanyaki. Also available are 45,000 won dishes with braised sea bream and seasonal salad, sashimi and dessert. A 55,000-won dish features beef teppanyaki, smoked sea bass with salad, sashimi, salmon, bean paste soup, cold thin noodles and dessert.
