ⓐ hardly any → few
ⓑ for it were made → were made for it
ⓒ in → during ‘일정 기간 동안’의 의미를 나타낼 때에는 during 사용

ⓔ was an electric phenomenon → an electrical phenomenon ⓓ에서 문장을 수정한 결과
ⓕ But only → Only 앞 문장과 반대되는 내용이 아니므로 but 삭제
ⓖ this theory was verified in an experiment by Benjamin Franklin → Benjamin Franklin verified the theory in an experiment
ⓘ the famous kite experiment → his famous kite experiment 벤저민 프랭클린이 고안한 실험임을 명시하기 위해 his 사용

A lightning bolt carries ⓐelectricity of hundreds of thousands of ampere and travels ⓑfor 45 kilometers per second. The temperature in a lightning bolt is up to ⓒ3,000 degrees Celsius, five times higher than the temperature on the sun's surface. Lightning hits frequently in ⓖthe places where climate conditions and ⓗtheir topography are perfect to produce thunderheads, or cumulonimbus clouds. The area between ⓘOrlando and Saint Petersburg in Florida, USA, is called "lightning alley" because storms accompanied ⓙby thunders and lightning ⓚhit this area on an average of 120 days a year.
