To Sept. 30: Novotel Ambassador holds an outdoor BBQ feast at its garden terrace. The menu contains assorted seafood and BBQ, britto, tortilla, quick-made grilled fried rice and a salad bar. Unlimited beer and soda are included. The prices are 36,000 won ($38) for adults and 18,000 won for children. Tax and service charges are not included.
The hours are 6 to 10 p.m. weekdays. On Saturday, the BBQ is open from 5:30 to 10 p.m. with a 30-minute break starting at 7:30 p.m.

Monday to Friday: Vine, the wine restaurant at the Lotte Hotel Seoul, holds a wine festival titled “Under the Real VINE.” At “VINE’s Bazaar”on Monday, more than 500 wines will be available at reduced prices. Tuesday features “Wine Battle ― Old vs. New World Wine,” where guests can sample different wines for the price of 150,000 won. “Chateau Ausone Wine Dinner” on Wednesday will feature three vintages from Michel Rolland’s collection. Dinner is available for 500,000 won. The last day, Friday, is “Le Fooding French Tour Party,” a French buffet for 60,000 won. All prices include VAT and service charge. During the festival, the restaurant will offer a lunch set and dinner set for 90,000 won and 120,000 won with flight wine. The two meals do not include VAT and service charges.

Monday to Oct. 31: Shunmi, the Japanese restaurant at the Novotel Ambassador Gangnam, presents new course menus featuring pine mushrooms. Course A includes assorted sashimi and other dishes made of pine mushrooms: roasted, steamed and fried mushroom dishes along with sushi, soy soup and porridge made of pine mushrooms. Course B includes fried shrimp, seafood and hot noodle soup cooked with pine mushrooms. The price of course A is 80,000 won and the B is 150,000 won. Prices do not include a 10 percent tax.

Today to Oct. 31: Hakone, the Japanese restaurant at Grand InterContinental Seoul, serves seasonal dishes made of pine mushrooms.
Main dishes include seasonal sashimi, broiled pine mushroom, poached mushrooms with abalone and eggplant and pine mushroom soup with seafood.
Prices range from 40,000 won to 80,000 won, excluding tax and service charges.
The special pine mushroom set menu is also available for 150,000 won.
