Sohn sparks rumors he will exit primary race
Sohn Hak-kyu, the former Gyeonggi governor, who has been running in the presidential primary of the United New Democratic Party, takes a stroll at the Jeoldusan Martyrs’ Shrine with his wife Lee Young-yun in Seoul on Sept. 20, a day after he opted out of a planned television debate. Sohn then drove off, heading toward Suwon, Gyeonggi’s capital, and his cell phone was off all day.
