Grand InterContinental SeoulFrom Nov. 9 (Friday and Saturday only): The Grand InterContinental Seoul’s restaurant, the Grand Cafe, will feature a seafood special of rock lobster, king crab, abalone, sea bass, scallop, salmon and halibut. Asian style vegetables with steamed or fried rice, baked or steamed potatoes, French fries, cajun potato wedges or sweet potatoes are offered. It is available from 6 to 9:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Prices range from 35,000 won ($38) to 110,000 won, depending on the seafood selection.

To Nov. 30: The Millennium Seoul Hilton’s Mediterranean restaurant, Cilantro, features an Indian cuisine special. More than 20 dishes, including lamb rogan josh, tandoori chicken, tikka masala and a selection of curries from North and South India, will be available. Indian beverages such as ginger milk tea and marsala tea are offered. A la carte selections will also be available. The price of the lunch buffet ranges from 22,800 won to 38,000 won. The dinner buffet ranges from 24,500 won to 41,000 won.
The promotion is also available at Cilantro’s Sunday brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., priced at 45,000 won for adults and 27,000 won for children under 12.

To Dec. 31: The JW Marriott Seoul’s Japanese restaurant, Mikado, presents a “globefish special.” Fugu is considered most delicious in the winter when the flesh fattens to endure the cold weather (October to March being prime fugu season). The selections from the nine-course Fugu Gen Special include fugu and tuna belly sashimi, braised fugu, fugu tempura and other dishes (150,000 won) and the six-course Yuki Special (130,000 won), which features a fugu hot pot and thin tora fugu sashimi. Prices do not include service charges and tax.
