요즘 치솟는 환율에도 불구하고 사상 최대의 한국 관광객이 롯폰기 힐스를 찾는다는 소식이다. 휘황찬란한 외관에만 마음 뺏기지 말고 모리라는 인물도 한 번쯤 느껴보았으면 한다. 사실 부동산이라면 우리가 오히려 일본보다 한 수 위다. 뉴타운 공약에 총선 판도가 뒤집어지고, “땅을 사랑한다”는 고위 공직자도 나오는 나라다. ‘강부자(강남 땅부자) 정권’이란 말 한마디로 정부 지지율마저 맛이 갈 정도다. 이쯤 되면 한국만 한 부동산 공화국도 없다. 그런데도 왜 ‘한국판 모리’는 영 나올 기미가 없는 걸까.
