There are several options. You could choose your destination based on leisure facilities, sightseeing or good food. Or one place that fits all three conditions: Jeju Island.

Jeju, a volcanic island off the southernmost shores of the Korean Peninsula, is famous for wind, rocks and women. But you can also enjoy great ocean views, oreum, or volcanic rocks, overlooking the city, and Mount Halla rising 1,950 meters (6398 feet) above sea level.

So for travelers who want more than the usual convenience offered by a standard hotel, here are some resorts and pension houses on Jeju Island that will make your vacation special without you having to fly long-distances abroad.
