[Sponsored Report] IBK: Bye, overdue fees

Nov 26,2009
Discounts on apartment management fees, cell phone bills and leisure activities make the My APT Card the perfect choice for these difficult economic times.
A career woman living in Mok-dong has to take care of household chores and work at the same time - but she no longer worries about forgetting her apartment management fees. They’re now paid automatically thanks to the Industrial Bank of Korea’s My APT Card.

And even better - she gets 10,000 won off those fees, along with discounts on her phone bills, at restaurants and at the movies, plus fee exemptions at ATMs and for electronic transfers. It’s the perfect card for the financial slump.

The My Alpha-My APT Card features various benefits, starting with automatic payment and 5,000 won to 10,000 won discounts off of apartment management fees. The card also offers a 3-percent discount on monthly cell phone bills (up to 1,200 won per month), a 10-percent discount at Outback Steakhouse and VIPS restaurants (additional discounts available with membership cards), a GS Caltex gasoline discount (60 won per liter) and fee exemptions for CD and ATM withdrawals and electronic transfers at IBK.

Even those who do not live in apartments and thus don’t use the card’s automatic payment feature can receive 5,000 won cash back every month. When applying, just chose “5,000 won fixed amount cash back” and use over a certain amount. Later you can change to help pay your management fees.

Applying is quick and easy over the phone (1566-0088) or online.

According to one IBK executive, “Over 95 percent of apartments in Korea can have their management fee automatically withdrawn with this card. Contact a branch nearby or call the customer service center at 1566-2566 to confirm that your apartment is eligible for automatic payment with this card.”
