[NEW RELEASES] Queen

테스트

As someone who’s harmonized to “Bohemian Rhapsody” in many a carpool, I’ve prided myself on knowing by heart the handful of Queen songs in my repertoire. Well, with “Absolute Greatest,” a new hits compilation, I’m in the middle of adding more.

In addition to timeless jams like “We Will Rock You,” “Under Pressure” and “We Are The Champions,” the album includes lesser-known gems like the relaxed “A Kind of Magic,” the inspiring “Don’t Stop Me Now” and, my personal favorite, “Somebody to Love” (after singing a few bars for a friend, he commented, “You’re really not a good singer, are you?”).

After the film “Blades of Glory,” I’m a little disappointed by the omission of “Flash,” but there are many other tracks to ease the pain.

So while Freddie may no longer be ready (God rest his soul), any fan of Queen, or the rock of the ’70s or ’80s, for that matter, should be - to get back into the power guitar and ridiculous vocals of this compilations of classics, that is.
