Vampire baby appears in ‘Twilight’ film trailer

LOS ANGELES - So much for chastity in the world of the “Twilight” vampires. The movie trailer for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1” has been released, and it shows that the heroine Bella Swan and her vampire lover Edward Cullen finally get intimate - after marriage, of course.

The trailer for the upcoming fourth film in the series released on Tuesday shows the wedding of the previously chaste Bella and Edward, their steamy honeymoon and Bella’s difficult pregnancy with a half-human, half-vampire baby.

Fans seem to have taken a liking to the trailer, in which a panicky Edward describes his bride’s pregnancy by exclaiming, “It’s crushing you from the inside out.” The trailer has already been viewed over 130,000 times on YouTube. The “Twilight” franchise became an instant hit when the first movie came out in 2008, appealing to an audience of mainly teenage girls.

The films based on the books by Stephenie Meyer and produced by independent studio Summit Entertainment have made a total of $790 million at U.S. and Canadian box offices, according to tracking firm Box Office Mojo. Summit has decided to break the last book in the series into two films from director Bill Condon, with “Part 1” slated for release on Nov. 18 and “Part 2” coming out next year.

`브레이킹 던` 추가 스틸 공개...속옷 차림 스튜어트 `눈길`

뱀파이어를 소재로 한 영화 ‘트와일라잇’ 시리즈의 4편 격인 ‘브레이킹 던 1부(Breaking Dawn)’가 스틸컷을 추가로 공개한 가운데 난데없는 선정성 논란에 휩싸였다.

미국 온라인 언론매체 허핑턴 포스트는 19일(한국시간) ‘브레이킹 던 1부’ 촬영 현장을 담은 아홉 장의 스틸 컷을 공개했다.

오는 11월 미국 개봉을 앞둔 이번 영화에서 주인공 에드워드(로버트 패틴슨)와 벨라(크리스틴 스튜어트)는 마침내 부부의 연을 맺는다. 이런 가운데 ‘브레이킹 던-1부’에는 두 사람의 숲속 결혼식 장면, 농도 짙은 베드신, 벨라의 출산 장면 등이 포함될 예정이어서 팬들의 궁금증이 증폭되고 있다.

특히 미리 공개된 스틸 컷을 보면 유독 주인공들의 애정신 및 노출신이 많은 것이 특징. 하얀색 속옷만 입은 채 물 속에 있는 크리스틴 스튜어트나 상의를 탈의하고 스튜어트를 안고 있는 로버트 패틴슨, 두 사람의 다정한 포옹 신, 핫팬츠 차림의 스튜어트와 블루 셔츠를 입은 패틴슨이 서로를 마주보고 앉아 있는 사진 등 전편에서는 볼 수 없던 다소 과감한 장면들이 포함돼 있다.

한편 ‘브레이킹 던 1부’는 오는 11월 18일 미국 개봉을 앞두고 있다.
