‘Gyebaek’ actress rushed to hospital

Actress Song Ji-hyo was rushed to an emergency room yesterday morning with difficulty breathing after an all-night shoot for a television drama, according to her agency C-JeS Entertainment.

The incident came only three days after she was hospitalized in Ilsan, Gyeonggi, for an allergic reaction to medication she was taking to boost her stamina.

Song’s health has deteriorated drastically since she began shooting “Gyebaek,” a historical drama on MBC in which she plays Eun-ko, a political thinker.

Filming for the drama has continued day and night in recent weeks due to a tight broadcasting schedule.

“Since she has been filming in various locations across the nation - from Buyeo to Yongin to Cheongju - she has slept less than three hours every night and her fatigue has accumulated,” her manager said.

Song’s health problems also prevented the 30-year-old actress, best known for the 2008 movie “Frozen Flower,” from participating in the taping of the SBS show “Running Man” yesterday, according to her manager.

`입원` 송지효, 부모님 간호속 안정中 "퇴원 미정"

양약 알러지로 입원 중인 배우 송지효가 부모님의 간호 속에 안정을 되찾고 있다.

소속사 씨제스엔터테인먼트 관계자는 20일 스타뉴스와 전화 통화에서 "송지효가 현재 부모님의 간호를 받으며 병원에서 안정을 취하고 있다"라고 말했다.

이 관계자는 "입원 이후 아직 연락을 하지 않아 송지효의 정확한 현재 상태는 모르겠지만 회복중인 것으로 안다"라고 전했다.

퇴원 날짜에 대해서는 "아직 미정"이라며 "의사의 소견과 송지효의 건강 상태를 봐서 결정할 것"이라고 말했다.

MBC 월화드라마 `계백`과 SBS 예능 프로그램 `러닝맨` 촬영으로 강행군을 펼쳐 오던 송지효는 지난 16일 체력 회복을 위해 링거를 맞던 중 양약 알러지 증세가 나타나 응급실로 옮겨졌다.

체력을 회복한 송지효는 17일 퇴원해 `계백` 촬영장에 복귀, 밤샘 촬영에 임했다. 18일에도 병원과 현장을 오가며 촬영을 이어가던 중, 몸이 심하게 부으며 이상증세를 보여 다시 입원했다.

송지효는 이 때문에 당일 예정돼 있던 `런닝맨` 촬영에 부득이 불참했다. 또한 기도와 호흡기가 심하게 부어 호흡곤란이 우려돼 산소 호흡기를 착용하기도 했다.
