YG agency opens history exhibition

YG Entertainment, one of the top record labels and entertainment agencies in Korea, has opened a special exhibition to celebrate its 15-year anniversary.

The company, founded by Korean band Seo Tae-ji & Boys’ member Yang Hyun-suk in 1996, said on Saturday that the exhibition titled “Kiss with YG Family” will be held at G-Arche, located on the second floor of Gangnam Station in Seoul. The exhibition started Saturday and will run through Jan. 15, 2012.

The exhibition will feature the 15-year history of YG Entertainment. Various albums and music videos will be on display as well as kiss marks from their artists including Big Bang, 2NE1, Tablo, Psy and Se7en. The kiss marks from these artists will be up for sale after the exhibition is over and all proceeds from the sale will be donated to their charity campaign “WITH.”

Meanwhile, YG Entertainment will hold a 15-year anniversary celebration concert at the Gymnastic Arena in Seoul Olympic Park this Saturday and Sunday, featuring their star singers.
