Chocolat reveals new track, new look

K-pop newcomer Chocolat introduced its title track “I Like It” from its upcoming mini-album being released on Dec. 15.

On the KBS program “Music Bank” broadcast on Dec. 9, the girl group showcased its new song as well as the band’s new look. The performance marked the beginning of promotional activities for the band’s mini-album. Coming back after a slow start in August, the band revealed a grown-up look that was in contrast to the fresh and naïve persona shown in its debut song “Syndrome.”

The new song wowed audiences with daring choreography and member Melanie’s powerful vocals. Due to the group’s sexy and chic transformation within a short time, netizens were quick to comment, “The girls have really matured during the last few months.”

During the show, the band was one member down and performed as a foursome. Although originally consisting of five members, member Jae-yoon’s health became a concern, forcing her to take a temporary break from the group.

After the group’s performance on “Music Bank,” Chocolat became the most-searched band on various Internet portal sites.
