Boyfriend surprises fans with photos

The six-member boy band Boyfriend surprised fans with pictures of its members inserted into 300 randomly selected CDs of the group’s third single “I’ll Be There.”

The band’s agency, Starship Entertainment, said in a press release on Dec. 14 that Polaroid pictures of the band members had been placed within 300 CDs of the single, which was released on Dec. 6.

“It's a present for fans," the agency said. "The photos were taken on the sets of music videos and photo shoots."

The pictures are candid shots of the band and show band members relaxing and joking around between takes.

On Dec. 11, the band said on its official Web site and Twitter page, “There is a secret behind the new single. We have a special gift for fans.”

Fans left a variety of comments online in response to the photos, such as “My very own Boyfriend picture. I can’t wait!” “I wonder what the pictures will look like" and “Boyfriend is the best!”

The band made its debut with a self-titled song in May and has been making appearances and releasing singles since.

Recently, the group made headlines when it was named an "artist to watch" in the coming year on the AllKpop.com Web site for amassing a million views of its music clip “I’ll Be There.”
