Singer Lee Hyun releases first solo album

On Jan. 2, Singer Lee Hyun released his debut album “The Healing Echo,” the first solo piece for the entertainer, who made his debut in 2007 in the band 8eight.

After his time with 8eight, the singer moved on to a duo project with Lee Chang-min from the boy band 2AM. The two collaborated under the name of Homme and released a digital single titled “Homme by ‘Hitman’ Bang” in 2010.

The new album is said to contain the moods and sentiments of a man in love. The title track “Because It’s You” is one of 10 songs contained on the album. Source Music, which is Lee’s agency, described the album as one that “ranges from the butterflies from the early days of love to the bitterness that follows a break-up.”

The agency added that the talents and skills that the 29-year-old entertainer accumulated over the last six years are visible in this body of work.

Lee will present a few pieces from his debut album for the first time on Mnet’s music chart show M Countdown on Jan.5.
