Sandara Park will officially be able to date in 2012

Member of girl group 2NE1, Sandara Park, used her Me2day Web site to greet her fans and to voice her opinion on the dating ban she was under for the last five years.
Park said that 99 percent of the messages she received on Jan.1 was from friends prompting her to get a boyfriend in the new year.
“All messages from my friends include the words ‘I hope you’ll find love this year.’ It’s good to know that I’m thought about. Additionally this year marks the end of my nondating agreement! Anyways, I wish you all the best year ahead!”
The star also uploaded a picture of herself with her post where she is seen in a long-wave hairdo, unlike the full make-up get-up that she is usually seen wearing on stage.
Park also signed off her announcement with the words, “This year I will work on being a refreshing person.”
The agreement that the singer is referring to is an unofficial verbal agreement the entertainer and her band members made with their agency, YG Entertainment, upon signing their contract.
The band was advised to refrain from dating for the first five years since their debut in an effort to concentrate solely on their careers and busy schedule.
Netizens were quick to comment saying things like, “Congratulations on being able to date!” and “I pray you’ll meet a wonderful guy.”
