Yim Jae-bum to perform Stateside

Yim Jae-bum will perform at two locations in the United States in January during what will be his second visit to the country. Entitled Entertainment said on Jan. 5 that the singer will perform a solo concert at Key Arena in Seattle followed by another performance on Jan. 20 at the Prudential Center in New Jersey.

“The concert acts will be full of the singer’s hit songs and will be just the stage for Yim to showcase just how talented he is,” a representative from the entertainment agency said.
The singer chose to perform at venues that can seat roughly 7,000 people in order to reach a bigger audience. Musical actor and singer Cha Ji-yeon will perform alongside Yim in the United States as a special guest.

Last October, Yim performed for American fans for the first time at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.

Yim made his debut in Korea in1986 in Korea with the heavy metal group Sinawe. However, it wasn’t until 2011 that he rose to great fame after participating in the singing survival show “I am a Singer.” His concert in Seoul last year drew an audience of 20,000.
