Singer Naul of Brown Eyed Soul to record with Stevie Wonder
According to the K-pop singer’s agency, Santa Music, yesterday, Naul will travel to the United States in February to meet and record three songs with the Motown legend. Two of the three songs will be covers of Wonder’s previous hits. Santa Music said the songs will then be released in Korea and Japan, and possibly in the United States.
“Wonder thought Naul had a unique and attractive voice which led to the world-class star approaching Naul,” a representative from Santa Music said. “This is the first time that Wonder has approached an Asian singer with the proposal of singing one of his songs.”
The 33-year-old K-pop singer sang a cover of “Lately” in 2010, which Wonder was able to hear while touring in Korea.
“Four Your Love,” another Wonder cover song, is currently included on Brown Eyed Soul’s latest live album.
