IU’s Japanese album cover revealed

Pictures to appear on singer IU’s Japanese single “Good Day” were posted on the teenage singer’s Japanese Web site. The single will be released in Japan on March 21.

In the preview, IU can be seen wearing a nude-colored dress with long wavy hair. The young K-pop singer’s more mature appearance is thought to be in stark contrast to her cutesy appeal as the “Nation’s Younger Sister.”

Fans were quick to comment on the pictures saying, “It’s official. IU is an adult now” and “Don’t grow up so fast!”

IU held her first solo concert series in Japan on Jan. 24 before some 4,000 delighted fans. The singer performed two separate concerts in one day at Tokyo’s Bunkamura Orchard Hall, aiming to boost her popularity among Japanese fans. The success of the show has led to speculations that the Korean singer will soon become a sensation there.
