T-ara confuses French and Japanese

The controversy surrounding T-ara’s use of Japanese in France has been clarified. According to Core Contents Media on Feb.16 the girls didn’t mean to say “Thank you” in Japanese when they were in France but it happened due to a misunderstanding between group members.

“Eun Jung tried to use French and said ‘à bientôt,’ but So Yeon thought she said ‘arigato,’ then proceeded to correct her by making the statement more formal and respectful by saying ‘arigato gozai mas.’

This confused the press as the other artists present at the press conference ahead of the ‘Music Bank in Paris’ show were either used French, English or Korean.
