Actor Ryu Si-won, who is in the middle of a messy divorce with his wife, is bringing a new lawsuit against her, accusing her of lying about him in previous court proceedings.

According to cable entertainment channel Y-Star, Ryu’s lawyer submitted a complaint to the Gangnam Police Precinct on Monday afternoon.

“Ryu wants to keep a low profile about this additional lawsuit, so I can’t tell you the details, but he decided to file an additional lawsuit against her because she gave false testimony,” said a member of Ryu’s legal team.

Ryu was ordered in September to pay 7 million won ($6,450) for using violence against his estranged wife and blackmailing her. He also installed a GPS tracker on his wife’s car in May 2011.

Ryu appealed that court decision, and the appeals trial is slated to begin on Friday.
