Fans put on a photo show for Jang

Actor Jang Keun-suk held a special event to celebrate his 28th birthday with fans over the weekend.

Prior to his birthday yesterday, the singer and actor held the “Jang Keun-suk Birthday Memorial Sharing Photo Exhibition” from Saturday to Sunday. The show includes photos and videos of Jang, along with artwork sent by fans from all across the world.

The exhibition was put together by Jang’s fan club, Cri-J. Jang took the time to look at all the photos and to give his autograph. The crowded event earned the fan club 16.2 million won ($15,673). All the proceeds will be donated to Namsamwon, an oprhan shelter in Namsan, central Seoul. The fan club has reportedly been volunteering there regularly.

Jang thanked all the fans who had traveled to the show from Japan, China, Thailand, Peru and elsewhere on his online radio program “Zikzin Radio.” “I’m so happy that I could celebrate my birthday with fans again this year,” Jang said.
