Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas
Saturdays and Sundays: During the weekend, with assistance from InterContinental London Park Lane near Buckingham Palace, the InterContinental Seoul’s lobby lounge and bar are holding a High Tea Buffet.
The biggest feature of the event was adapting the menu into a buffet. As high teas were developed by the English aristocracy, the buffet will provide an unlimited amount of Earl Gray cake, brie creme brulee, blueberry cheese cake and more, prepared by the hotel’s patisserie. Most importantly, guests can choose one of seven different flavors from the U.S. luxury tea brand Steven Smith Teamaker.
Steven Smith is known as the “tea shaman” who founded the Tazo brand that has been praised as reincarnating tea.
In 1999, Starbucks acquired Tazo, and since then, Smith has developed 60 popular beverages. Smith was inspired by a Parisian perfume manufacturer and a chocolatier in Provence, and dedicates himself to slowly brewing tea in his atelier.
The High Tea buffet price is 35,000 won per person, including service charge and tax.

Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Hotel
Ongoing: The hotel has introduced two new dining experiences after six months of renovation. Ondal has reopened as an authentic Korean restaurant featuring royal cuisine inspired by genuine recipes from the households of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) gentry. Set above the second floor of the main hotel building, Ondal evokes a contemporary feel with luminous art wall made of hanji, or traditional Korean paper. The head chef’s signature dishes include a “Summit Luncheon,” which was served during the G20 Seoul Summit and President Xi Jinping’s visit to Korea.
