[Sponsored Report] AREX offers discount rates
AREX allows travelers to save time by averting traffic jams and using its quick check-in services at Seoul Station’s City Airport Terminal. AREX passengers who purchased tickets from Korean Air, Asiana Airlines and Jeju Air are offered check-in and baggage consignment services on the second basement level of Seoul Station. Immigration services for overseas travel are also available.
The entire process takes about 10 minutes, so passengers don’t have to stand in long queues or worry about missing their flight.
Starting from Seoul Station is also a smart choice because the Industrial Bank of Korea, located on the second floor of the station, offers the best foreign exchange rates in the nation. Those who show a receipt of their transaction from the bank can get discounts on AREX tickets. Passengers who are not traveling with a group can reduce the cost of their ticket to 6,900 won.
There are two types of trains traveling to and from Seoul Station and Incheon International Airport: the all-stop train, which stops at all 11 stations and costs 3,950 won, and the express train, which carries passengers straight to their destination in 43 minutes and costs 8,000 won.
“The express train is especially popular among foreigners because it is equipped with toilets and comfortable reserved seats with extra space for bags,” said an official from Incheon Airport Railroad.
“We are happy to extend our group discount rate for one more year.”
