JYJ’s Park to enlist in Army in August

테스트

Singer-actor Park Yoo-chun from the K-pop trio JYJ will start serving his mandatory military service from late August.

C-JeS Entertainment, Park’s talent agency, said on Monday that the 28-year-old will enter training camp on Aug. 27.

After receiving basic military training for a month, he will then become a public service worker instead of a regular soldier due to his asthma.

Park will be the second member of the band to serve in the military after Kim Jae-joong.

The singer recently starred in the hit drama named “The Girl Who Sees Smells” (2015) and also held a fan meet-up event for two days over the weekend, during which around 8,000 fans from various countries gathered to see the celebrity.

Park has recently been honored with a prize from the 51st Baeksang Arts Awards under the Best New Male Actor category for his film “Sea Fog” (2014).

He is currently working on the movie “Lucid Dream,” which will be released this year.
