Build concert halls for K-pop performances

I read the article last night. As you know, Seoul plans to build an arena for concerts to boost K-pop. The plan is expected to begin in 2017 and be completed in 2020.

I agree with the article. Korean music is very famous in many countries around the world, especially in Asia. Many foreigners, as well as Koreans, like to imitate dances and songs. K-pop is important for us, so I think we have to make an effort to notice our K-pop culture more widely. Many foreigners want to learn how to speak and write in Korean. One of the reasons why they are learning is because they want to understand lyrics and the words they are saying.

If Seoul builds an arena for K-pop concerts, it will be a chance to promote Korea. We already have many stadiums, but these are not for performances; they are only for sports. We need to make an arena for performances.

If K-pop is more famous, it will be helpful for our economy. Many products branded with K-pop singers, like notebooks, pillows, bottles and T-shirts, have been selling now. It will help contribute to the growth of our economy.

Finally, I think we have to strive to make a stadium for K-pop culture. Although K-pop is famous, the government’s support is not enough. If we try harder to boost K-pop, it will offer an opportunity to promote Korea and rake in economic benefits.
