The Grand Hyatt Seoul’s ice rink, a popular spot for marriage proposals and family outings, is open for the winter. To promote the ice rink, the hotel, located in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan District, central Seoul, decided to host a dinner event to celebrate the successful the hotel chain’s global holiday campaign called “Living Grand.”

A tent was set up on the ice rink, and guests from across Asia enjoyed performances by figure skaters and traditional Korean drummers. The event was overseen by Carina Chorengel, the senior vice president of brands and commercial strategy for Hyatt hotels in the Asia-Pacific region.

The rink is open from noon to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends. The price for rink access and skate rental for adults is 46,000 won ($39) Monday to Thursday and 50,000 won Friday to Sunday. By Lee Sun-min [GRAND HYATT SEOUL]
