Meet SpongeBob in Busan
This winter, Sea Life Busan Aquarium, located by Haeundae Beach, is showcasing a very special event, "SpongeBob Underwater Bikini City." Life-size SpongeBob characters greet visitors in the city's main aquarium, which has stirred up a lot of excitement among little ones.
The event is slated to run until March 1. Adding more fun, until the end of this year, a Santa-clad diver is putting on a show in the main aquarium every Saturday and Sunday in celebration of the Christmas season. Additionally, the aquarium will screen SpongeBob Christmas videos.
Busan Aquarium will also give away a "Sponge Huntbook" to visitors during the event period. Visitors can tour the aquarium and look for the SpongeBobs hidden in the many corners of the venue's fish tanks, referring to the book as a guide.
"We put together this event so that every visitor here will have a special time," said an associate at the aquarium. "We turned the main aquarium into a backdrop for the animation, making use of the big-screen TV and the movie characters. It will be a fun attraction."
