Ji Chang-wook confirms lead in ‘K2’

Actor Ji Chang-wook will star in a new tvN drama “K2” (working title), according to his talent agency, Glorious Entertainment, on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old will soon take part in shooting the drama, which revolves around two characters: a bodyguard abandoned by his country and colleagues, and the daughter of a politician ambitious enough to use love as a means of revenge.

Jin will play the bodyguard, Kim Je-ha, who is forced to remain on the run because of an unsolved crime. The story focuses on how he changes after meeting the politician’s daughter, who becomes the love of his life.

“Although Kim Je-ha is a cold person, he is also very attractive,” said Ji.

The drama will hit the air in September after “The Good Wife” finishes.

It will be Ji’s first drama since “Healer” (2014-15), which shot him to international fame.
