Korea Federation of Banks appoints new chairman

The Korea Federation of Banks, an association representing banks operating in Korea, appointed a new chairman Wednesday. Kim Tae-young, former chief of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation’s credit business, will replace Ha Yung-ku starting next month. His term is three years. Kim’s career began at the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, which is affiliated with Nonghyup Bank. Born in 1953, Kim graduated from Myongji University with a major in business administration.
