Lee Juno receives lighter charges in appeal

Lee Juno of veteran K-pop group Seo Taiji and Boys received a light punishment in an appeal trial held on Thursday.

He was accused of fraud and sexual harassment and was sentenced to a year and six months in prison in June 2017. In the trial held on Thursday, he was sentenced to a two-year probation with a 14 month suspended prison term. At the trial, the judge said, “Lee paid back the money he borrowed and the people he borrowed from didn’t want him to be punished. Additionally, he didn’t commit any similar crimes.” His appeal for the sexual harassment charges was not accepted.
