Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel

To April 20: The Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel is hosting a Spring Whisper Wedding Fair to share the latest trend of small intimate weddings.

Three venues suitable for 30 to 150 guests will be decorated with romantic and elegant styles. A private function room on the seventh floor, the Lavender Room, will have square tables and floral decorations tinted with the theme color yellow. The outdoor Garden Terrace on the eighth floor will be decorated with a combination of Pantone’s colors of previous years: pale pink, lavender, green and white.

The fair will run from 7:30 to 9:10 p.m. Wedding consultation services, where guests can speak with staff about floral decorations, dresses and invitation cards, will be available starting from 4 p.m.

The hotel will offer special gifts for guests who sign a wedding contract from April 20 to May 5. They include a 10 percent discount on the wedding menu, 20 percent discount on beverages, a complimentary wedding bouquet, wedding cake and champagne.

Park Hyatt Seoul

To April 20: The Park Hyatt Seoul’s premium vinyl music bar, The Timber House, presents “Night of the Galaxy” featuring maguro (tuna) and sake. The promotion gets its inspiration from the story “Night of the Milky Way Railway.” Since the author, Kenji Miyazawa, hails from Iwate Prefecture, The Timber House is presenting the region’s signature staples, tuna and Junmai Ginjo sake, during happy hour. A sharing set with a bottle of sake will be available.

Dishes include an appetizer with maguro and avocado, tuna akami, belly and tamago (egg) sushi. Happy-hour guests can enjoy free-flowing Junmai Ginjo sake, premium Japanese beer and sake-based cocktails. The sake, “Night on the Milky Way Railroad,” derives its name from the Miyazawa novel and has a soft fruity flavor. Guests ordering a set can enjoy a bottle of the sake instead of unlimited beverages.

Happy hour runs from 6 to 8 p.m. on weekdays and costs 69,000 won ($65) per person. The sharing set will be offered until 12:30 a.m. and costs 160,000 won, including tax.
