테스트

K-pop superstars BTS is back to breaking records.

The septet released its repackaged album “Love Yourself: Answer” on Aug. 24, local time, and the music video of its title track “IDOL” racked up over 56 million views on YouTube within 24 hours of its release, a new record. The record was previously held by Taylor Swift for her “Look What You Made Me Do” music video, which was released last August during the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. Her video had over 43 million views within the first 24 hours.

The song is topping charts both at home and abroad. As of Sunday, the song was at the top of the iTunes’ Top Songs chart in 66 countries around the world, as well as local music streaming charts including Melon, Mnet and Genie.

“IDOL” is a South African style dance track that revels in vocal chants and instruments that can commonly be heard in gugak (traditional Korean music), blended with rap and house beats. The music video features the boys dancing in a brightly-hued, kaleidoscope world.

BTS ended its two-day concert series in Jamsil, southern Seoul, on Sunday and is soon heading off on its world tour which visits 33 cities in 16 countries.
