Hanwha group exhibiting defense products at expo

Defense industry affiliates of the Hanwha Group will promote their products at an exhibition in Indonesia this week, the conglomerate said Tuesday.

During the Indo Defence 2018 Expo & Forum that runs from Wednesday through Saturday, Hanwha Corporation, Hanwha Systems, Hanwha Land Systems and Hanwha Defense Systems will aggressively market their ground equipment, defense electronics and precision strike products, the group said in a statement.

Korean products displayed at the exhibition include the K9 self-propelled howitzer, an integrated coastline surveillance system and advanced rocket bombs, according to a statement from the chemical, defense and finance conglomerate.

Some 800 companies from 44 countries set up booths to sell products at the biennial defense exhibition presided over by the Indonesian defense ministry, it said.
