Black Nut found guilty for insults

Rapper Black Nut has been sentenced to six months in prison with a two-year suspended sentence and an additional 160 hours of community service for insulting the rapper KittiB with explicit and offensive song lyrics.

“Freedom of expression is important, but the victim’s personal rights and feelings are also very important and must be protected,” the court announced. “[The rapper has] repeatedly offended the victim through sexually insulting lyrics.”

The court added, “Even during the trial, he did not show any regret for his actions.”

In 2017, the rapper created controversy after he said he had masturbated to a picture of female rapper KittiB in the song “Too Real.” Black Nut reportedly mentioned KittiB’s name and continuously insulted her during four separate performances from 2016 to 2017.

KittiB took legal action in May 2017 and filed a complaint about the abusive language.

Although Black Nut argued that his intention was not to insult her, the court said that “he used the rapper’s full stage name and [his lyrics] contained explicit words that were intended to sexually insult her.”
