‘Baby Shark’ remains on Billboard

“Baby Shark” remains on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for the second week in a row, hitting No. 38 on the chart released on Tuesday.

“Baby Shark,” a children’s song produced by children’s education contents brand Pinkfong in 2015, hit No. 32 on the Billboard chart last week, and is the first Korean children’s song to see such popularity in the United States.

Other songs by Korean artists that have been listed on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart include Psy’s “Gangnam Style” and “Gentlemen,” BTS’s “IDOL,” “MIC Drop” and “DNA,” Wonder Girls’ “Nobody” and CL’s “Lifted.”

The music video for “Baby Shark” has been watched over 70 million times since it was uploaded on YouTube on Jan. 2, 2016.
