9muses meets fans for final time

Girl group 9muses bid farewell to its fans, meeting with its fans for the very last time as a single group on Sunday at the Hansung University, central Seoul.

According to Star Empire, the group held its last fan meet-and-greet event, titled “Remember,” to remember the nine years the members spent together as a group.

The four current members of the group - Gyeongree, Hyemi, Sojin and Keumjo - took the stage, along with the former members as well, including Minha, Sungah, Hyuna and Lee Hye-min.

“It was such an honor to have been with you all, from the day when I just became a grown-up, to this day as a 29-year-old leader,” said Hyemi, shedding tears.

“Every memory that I’ve shared as a part of 9muses is so precious, and I will cherish every moment of it for the rest of my life,” said Gyeongree.

The group made its debut in 2010 with its track “No PlayBoy” as a nine-member act, and had been loved for their songs such as “Lip 2 Lip” (2016) and “Remember” (2017). But with frequent member changes, the group eventually shrunk to four members.

Sunday’s event featured the group performing their most loved songs together for the last time.

“We were so grateful for having been loved by you like we were. I wouldn’t trade those times with anything,” said Sojin.

“I will live the rest of my life, remembering all the moments we shared,” added Keumjo.

The members will continue their separate careers as singers and actors.
