Blackpink still on U.K. singles list

Blackpink became the first K-pop girl group to have its song rank on Britain’s Official Charts’ top 100 singles list for three consecutive weeks.

“Blackpink is on Britain’s Official Chart for the third week in a row, following a two-week run on the U.S. Billboard main charts,” YG Entertainment said on Saturday.

The girl group’s latest song, “Kill This Love,” released on April 5, debuted at No. 33 on the British singles chart the week of its release, the highest-ever for a K-pop girl group. It slid down to No. 48 last week, and is at No. 55 in the latest update.

The quartet was also the first K-pop girl group to have a song on the chart’s top 100 singles list, with “Ddu-du Ddu-du” last year.

The girl group is currently on their North American tour.
