25th Dream Concert kicks off today

The 25th Dream Concert will be held today at Sangam World Cup Stadium in western Seoul. The annual show is celebrating its meaningful anniversary with a star-studded lineup for performers.

The concert, organized by the Korea Entertainment Producer’s Association, is known to be one of the biggest annual K-pop festivals, and a total of 505 acts and 1.5 million concertgoers have attended the event over the past 24 years. The first Dream Concert was held on May 13, 1995.

This year’s lineup includes Taemin of SHINee, Red Velvet, NCT Dream, Oh My Girl, AB6IX, N.Flying, (G)I-DLE, KARD and many more.

The festivity will be emceed by Leeteuk of Super Junior, Gongchan of B1A4 and actor Jung So-min.

Some of the concert’s ticket sales will go to families of firefighters who have died on duty.
