테스트

Musician Jungmin Seo plays a gayageum, a traditional Korean string instrument, during the opening of the retrospective of self-taught calligraphy artist and businessman Choi Gyu-myoung (1919-99) on June 7. Above the musician are ink-based calligraphic works by Choi hanging from the ceiling. The letter on each of the hanging papers is the Chinese character for mountain. The exhibition - which features Choi’s calligraphic works that hover between writing and drawing, as well as his seal carvings - runs through June 30 at the Calligraphy Art Museum of Seoul Arts Center in southern Seoul. Many of Choi’s displayed works are related to the Kaesong-born artist’s yearning for the two Koreas’ unification. Choi Jeong-hwa, a famous visual artist, headed the exhibition’s design.
