Blocked briefing
Protestors block cars that are carrying officials of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on their way to give a briefing in Seogwipo, Jeju Island, on Thursday to Jeju residents about the environmental impact assessment of a planned second airport on the island. Some Jeju residents fear that another airport would hurt Jeju’s environment and farmers’ livelihoods. [NEWS1]
