Renault Samsung Motors unveiled an upgraded SM6 sedan Monday as it strives to please a wider range of consumers and raise competitiveness in the local market.

The newest midsize sedan comes with enhanced performance. It is also more accessible, at times cheaper than its predecessor. For some trims, the price is up to 500,000 won ($421) lower than the previous lineup.

For customers looking for more premium features, the automaker added two luxury trims to the lineup. The luxury trims come with exclusive logos on the front and sides and are equipped with 19-inch two-tone alloy wheel resembling the shape of the Eiffel Tower.
