Juul opens first offline store in Korea, in Gangnam area
Juul Labs opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Korea in the trendy Sinsa district of Gangnam, southern Seoul on Sunday.At the store, customers can try different flavors of Pods, the liquid refill cartridges, and purchase Juul e-cigarettes. Juul currently offers five types of Pods and devices in two colors - silver and black. Having launched domestically in late May, Juul is sold at 15,000 convenience stores.
An exclusive benefit offered at the store is an engraving service, in which the user’s name is carved on the device. Open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., the store will also provide after-sales service.
“We’re glad to offer a space to help adult smokers try our device,” said Juul Labs Korea CEO Lee Seung-jae.
