Tooniverse web series to debut soon
Web drama series “My Youtube Diary,” featuring the seven “Toonistars” selected by Tooniverse, will begin airing on Aug. 8.Comprised of six girls and one boy between the ages 8 and 13, these young stars will represent the face of the children’s TV channel Tooniverse for the latter half of the year.
The seven members, along with two members of K-pop boy band Dongkiz - Mun-ik and Jae-chan - will all star in the series as teen YouTube creators-in-training.
“The series vividly depicts the troubles and hardships young YouTube creators go through,” said the producer Kim Yong-man. “We picked the topic [of YouTube creators] because it is something that children nowadays are interested in.”
